New ERAcom has provided a full range of engineering skills
to support Honeywell for installing Traffic Control System
(TCS) at Discovery Bay Tunnel. We have provided physical cables
and the engineering services including site survey, conduit/trunking
installation, cable pulling and termination for fiber optic
cable.
Macau International Airport
We have designed and implemented a fully resilient high speed
FDDI network backbone for interconnecting various LANs at
terminal building, control tower, administration office and
cargo building throughout Macau International Airport. Virtual
LAN technique has been deployed at their network in order
to isolate MIS network, airlines' LAN and building management
services LAN. The network management station is AS400 running
NetView as network management platform to monitor all IBM's
network backbone switches and LAN Hubs such as 8273, 8274
and 8224.
Hongkong International Terminals Limited
New ERAcom is applying a wide array of consulting skills to
design a comprehensive solution offering a wire LAN infrastructure
and a fully resilient network backbone for HIT's mobile data
system throughout HIDC and the yard from Terminal 4 to Terminal
7. The 64-core single mode fiber optic cable plant has been
configured as physical ring but logical star in order to achieve
resilient capability and save conduit space. The backbone
switches are Cabletron's SmartSwitch 6000 connected via Fast
Ethernet technology with resilient links.
